Olenergies launches its factory 4.0 project
OLENERGIES, WINNER OF THE «STRATEGIC INDUSTRY PLAN»
Olenergies, the french leader of new-generation batteries, will expand its industrial capacity with the construction of a positive energy 4.0 factory in the Paris region.
Providing advanced industrial capacity for lithium batteries
As part of Act I of its Economic, Ecological and Solidarity Plan, the Paris Region chose Olenergies industrialization plan from among several hundred applications submitted. Olenergies wil benefit from a significant subvention to accelerate the implementation of a latest-generation batteries lithium factory that will create jobs in the eastern part of the Paris Region.
A positive energy 4.0 pilot plant
This plant will be eco-efficient thanks to the production and on-site storage of renewable energy, becoming a positive energy building. It will be a real demonstration of Olenergies’ know-how in the strategic sector of the industry’s energy transition. The plant concept is highly innovative: modular, the production equipment is digitalized and automated.
Intelligent Batteries for the Energy Transition and the Medical Sector
This pilot plant will significantly complement Olenergies’ production capacity to supply markets where the company is already present, in particular the electrification of the maritime sector, the management of intermittent renewable energies and the development of solutions for smart power grids: smart city and grids.
For industrial energy sovereignty
Olenergies is developing an industrial capacity to significantly increase the production of innovative batteries produced in France, in short lead times and in large quantities, in order to compete with the Asian market.
The industrial tool will have a production capacity of 100kWh/d as of 2021 and will quickly reach its production of 1MWh/d*.
